Day 9 : VAND KE CHAKKO

"Share with others"

We as a species must re-evaluate what it means to be 'human'. It is time to make a big decision. Are we a part of this planet? Or are we not?

Do we wish to call it home and have our children do the same? Do we wish to have other creatures, plants and trees call it home as well?

The way our species has utilized the resources of this world, seems like the earth is just biting back. Doesn't feel very friendly to me. I think part of evolution is to have hindsight. To question our outdated philosophies/practices and to move on. That even includes religious/cultural practices that might be mindlessly polluting our rivers and environment?

Concentrate on the important things. This is home. This. Right here... Is where our loyalties must lie. Beyond religion, beyond race, beyond culture...lets truly be humans first. Let's be of this earth. Let's be of our world. Let's learn first to live in harmony with our environment. Let's first, as human beings, learn to share.

"This is home. This. Right here... Is where our loyalties must lie. Beyond religion, beyond race, beyond culture...lets truly be humans first. Let's be of this earth. Let's be of our world. Let's learn first to live in harmony with our environment."
Vand Ke chakko. These ancient words still hold true no matter how far we have come. Unless we become conscious that we share this world with other beings, the future is bleak for us all.
